How to reach WikiKratom: corrections, tips, questions and complaints, and what happens to each one.

One address for everything: editorial@wikikratom.com.

There is no contact form. Adding one would mean routing your message through another company's service, and email already works without that. Our privacy page sets out what little we collect.

Corrections

This is the one we most want to hear about. If something on this site is wrong, out of date, or missing a source that would change it, tell us.

It helps a great deal if you can point us at the underlying document: the statute, the ministerial order, the register entry, the paper. We cite primary sources for everything, so a correction we can verify against an instrument gets fixed quickly, and one that rests on secondary reporting takes us longer because we have to go and find the instrument ourselves.

What happens next: we check it, we fix the page, and we record what changed in the public corrections log. We do not edit quietly. If you would like credit for the correction, say so and we will name you. If you would rather not be named, that is the default.

Tips

Regulatory changes, court decisions, enforcement actions, new research. We cover kratom law and science in Europe and the United States, and national changes are exactly the thing that is hard to catch from outside the country. If a substance list changed where you live, we would like to know.

We are not set up for confidential source handling. Please do not send us anything that would put you at risk, and do not send anything from a work account you would not want associated with the subject.

Questions

If something we have published does not make sense, or you cannot work out what the law is where you are, ask. We read everything.

What we cannot do is answer personal medical questions. We are not clinicians, and a question about your own health, your own medication or your own dependence needs a doctor rather than a publication. We also cannot tell you where to buy anything, and we will not answer questions about vendors. Our disclosure page explains why that rule is absolute for us in particular.

Complaints about our coverage

WikiKratom is published by a company that owns a kratom retailer, which we disclose on every page. If you think that relationship has bent something we published, we want the specifics: the article, the claim, and what you think it should say. Substantiated complaints are published in the corrections log alongside what we changed.

Not this, please

  • Guest posts and link insertions. We do not accept them. We publish nothing we have not researched and verified ourselves.
  • Vendor pitches, samples and sponsorships. We rate no vendors, link to no vendors, and accept no sponsorship. There is no version of this that works.
  • Requests to remove accurate reporting. If it is wrong we will correct it, and we will need to see the document that shows it is wrong. If it is right it stays up.

Who you are writing to

J. Rietveld edits WikiKratom under a pen name, for the reasons set out on the about page. Mail goes to the editor.

The publisher is K-EYE B.V., registered in the Netherlands under KvK number 69926174, at Industrieweg 14G, 1231 KH Loosdrecht, Netherlands. Formal or legal correspondence can go to that address.

We are a small operation. Expect a reply in days rather than hours, and expect a slower one on anything that needs us to go and read a statute first.
